Job Description

Headquartered in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, MLA Claims is one of the nation's most accomplished property loss consulting & public insurance adjustment firms. MLA Claims is currently seeking a Licensed Public Insurance Adjuster. We are hiring immediately and offering a safe and flexible work environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Handle all aspects of property insurance claims from start to finish

  • Compile organized insurance claim estimates and documentation

  • Communicate and advise clients in a concise and timely manner

  • Participate in onsite inspections

  • Negotiate equitable settlements

  • Create and sign new loss leads

  • Inspect, sign and handle in-house loss leads

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Experience

  • Two or more years of applicable experience

License/Certifications

  • Valid Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey Public Adjuster’s license

  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and negotiating skills

  • Professional appearance and attitude

  • Ability to work independently, manage schedules and meet deadlines

  • Damage estimating experience required; Xactimate experience a plus
