Job Description
Headquartered in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, MLA Claims is one of the nation's most accomplished property loss consulting & public insurance adjustment firms. MLA Claims is currently seeking a Licensed Public Insurance Adjuster. We are hiring immediately and offering a safe and flexible work environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Handle all aspects of property insurance claims from start to finish
Compile organized insurance claim estimates and documentation
Communicate and advise clients in a concise and timely manner
Participate in onsite inspections
Negotiate equitable settlements
Create and sign new loss leads
Inspect, sign and handle in-house loss leads
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Experience
Two or more years of applicable experience
License/Certifications
Valid Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey Public Adjuster’s license
Valid driver’s license and vehicle
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and negotiating skills
Professional appearance and attitude
Ability to work independently, manage schedules and meet deadlines
Damage estimating experience required; Xactimate experience a plus
